About
HET at Round Top Elementary
·
My
favorite aspect of HET is the focus on practical use of LIFESKILLS, which are
behaviors that will help students and teachers to be successful not only in
school, but in life…from childhood through adulthood.
Grants & Research
·
Francis Marion University Center of Excellence Grant, 2010 “Building
Our Network and Encouraging Service” Awarded $2,000 for the creation of
‘B.O.N.E.S. Club’ and school based business.
Program goals: develop meaningful relationships, build background
knowledge, increase motivation, and provide purposeful instruction.

This year marks my fifteenth year in
public education, having served the last eight years as a
speech-language pathologist here at RTE! I am so fortunate to be an Aviator, and
am the proud parent of two former Aviators who continue to attend other
RSD2 schools. I am married to my
wonderful husband, Jameel, who I met in high school growing up in our
home town of Beaufort, South Carolina.
We have two dogs: an English Mastiff named Anakin, and a
Chihuahua named Obi. My family
is very active in school activities, church ministries, and our local
YMCA.
We enjoy exercising together, watching movies, and traveling!
