Jeaneen
Tucker begins her eighth year as principal of Round Top after serving as
assistant principal at Bethel-Hanberry Elementary for 4.5 years. She has
worked for 25 years in Richland Two in various roles at Rice Creek, Nelson
and North Springs elementary schools, and Dent Middle School. She was
selected as Rice Creek’s Teacher of the Year in 1996-1997.
Mrs. Tucker
earned her education specialist degree and master's degree in guidance and
counseling from USC. She is certified in Administration, K – 8. Her undergraduate
degree, in special education, is from Jacksonville State University in Alabama
- the only other Gamecock school in the nation! She and her husband,
Steve, will celebrate 25 years of marriage in July '10. They are blessed
with two wonderful sons. Collin, 19, is a 2009 highschool graduate.
Briggs, 22, is a 2006 graduate of Ridge View High School, a Citadel alum
(Tango, '10), and plans to attend Law School.
